EdiTree Social is a feature of the PublisherAI platform that allows users to create and publish social media carousel content to third-party platforms, including TikTok and Instagram.

When you use EdiTree Social and the PublisherAI platform, we may collect:

  • Social media tokens: OAuth access tokens and refresh tokens when you connect your TikTok, Instagram, or Facebook accounts via EdiTree Social. These tokens are stored securely and used solely to publish content on your behalf.
  • Generated content: articles, editorial plans, carousel slides, captions, and images created through the Service.
  • Usage data: pages visited, features used, timestamps, and performance metrics.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information collected through EdiTree Social and PublisherAI to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
  • Generate and publish carousel content to TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook on your behalf.
  • Manage your account, subscriptions, and plan limits.
  • Analyze usage patterns to improve user experience.
  • Communicate important updates about the Service.

5. Third-Party Services

EdiTree Social integrates with the following third-party services:

  • TikTok (ByteDance Ltd.) — for publishing photo carousel content. Subject to TikTok's Privacy Policy.
  • Instagram / Facebook (Meta Platforms, Inc.) — for publishing carousel content. Subject to Meta's Privacy Policy.
  • Cloudflare R2 (Cloudflare, Inc.) — for secure storage of generated images.
  • Azure OpenAI (Microsoft Corp.) — for AI-powered content generation.
  • Replicate — for AI image generation.

We only share the minimum data necessary for these integrations to function. Your social media tokens are never shared with other third parties.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Social media tokens are deleted when you disconnect your account from EdiTree Social. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting [email protected].

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encrypted storage of OAuth tokens, HTTPS encryption for all communications, and access controls limiting data access to authorized personnel only.
